This winter we have seen some birds in our yard that we've never seen before - well never in our own yard before. How do we know this? We keep lists!
We've had a Red-bellied Woodpecker and a Carolina Wren visit the feeders. The wren we've heard before but never seen.

We are participating, but I have to refill the feeder as the birds have cleaned me out over the past two days :)
ReplyDeleteWe too have had a red-bellied woodpecker this winter, although so far I have only seen him on really snowy days. I wish the photos I took a couple weeks ago would count in the photo contest! I have some great birds in snow photos! I'll have to set up and take some new ones.
